Rp and Stuff

momemordrid Am feeling somewhat better, but am still finding it hard to do things that require mental energy, like reading. But I went to McKay's with Mom anyway! And bought a bunch of books! Also I think my BG2 is borked a little. My mage has no access to her spells, despite having rested numerous times. But my new, sorcerer, character, has access to his spells after resting once. I think the mage class is borked, or at least the elementalist mages are. Stopped playing BG1. Too hard. BG2 is a bit easier, especially with a sorcerer. Magic is awesome.
Anyway, the rp!
laetina , I've gathered up a few of my ocs, and came up with a loose plot:
Mirth has heard Fr. Alp has extensive contacts and would be the one to know about who to ask about portals. He has also heard Fr. spends a lot of time in this one particular Folk bar. The rp opens with the bar, and Mirth and Fr. interact for a bit.
Fr. takes Mirth to one of his contacts, a djinn. Said djinn has problems with Christians, and would also have problems with a demon, and needs to be persuaded to help. If he does help, he'll direct them to a technomancer. If he can't be convinced, they may need to go talk to one of your ocs.
In any event, they eventually get directed to the technomancer, Gideon Saltborn, who tends to work with the weirder magics--might this include planar magic??
It turns out Gideon can help them, but only by directing them to someone else, whose current address he doesn't have. He gives them the last known address, and they go to chat with the landlord(s) (who I thought could be oc(s) of yours). The landlord(s) might not actually know anything. If that demon of misinformation gets involved, they might get information that's patently wrong!
If they manage to find the last person, she can actually help Mirth somewhat.
And at some point in all of that, one of my ocs tries to kidnap Fr. and Mirth.
This got kind of involved really quickly. Hm. I think it would be fun though! :D What do you think?
