Remember that half-assed essay I turned in? I got a B! I... I just don't know. I guess the teacher's an easy grader.
Still having fun with Fr. Gil. Wrote another ficlet on his account and planning a few more. Also met a fellow Old Fritz/Prussia shipper in the aph dressing room. They play... Old Fritz. We'll have to see if our muses behave... >:3
Going to play my new GURPS character in a one-on-one session with the GM on Tuesday. I miss not playing with a klepto, but that seemed like it was such a big part of who Usurpateur was that I don't want to trot that out for my next character. Gilbert is still greedy, tho. I'll have to see how good I am at playing overconfidence. Usur was sort of semi-retiring. Gilbert, being based of course on Gilbert Weillschmidt, is much more in-your-face. I'm playing him as a criminal, of course. That's pretty much what I play, criminals. My role-playing abilities are limited to criminals and creepers (creepers being what I cosplay and play in real life).
Anyway, Gilbert Schmidt's a brash, greedy albino conman/thief, a human native of Earth's Fifth Reich. Fortunately for the alien in our party, he's not actually racist against aliens like most 5th-Reichers. He's also slightly attractive and charismatic--the charisma I was going to give him anyway, but the attractiveness was because the book says albinos can't be of 'average' appearance, and I didn't want him to be unattractive. He has quirks of liking birds and beer, and of always wearing a large hat that I hope will somewhat counteract the sun-damage problem of being an albino. He also has an incompetence in Savoir-faire, which basically means he can never learn high-society manners and is even worse at them than the default. The one thing that I couldn't really do, in interests of actually building a useful character and not being too creepy, was to give him high skill in shadowing with the quirk of 'follows his friends.' If I have to remake my character again, tho, I AM going with the creeper idea. Maybe make a kleptomaniac stalker with a Russia-like personality. Yeah... Actually, if I have time, I might make him up beforehand, just in case.
What am I talking about? One of my classes was canceled today. I have plenty of time! Ok, off to make Back-up Creeper 1.
